The main aim of this,The Voice Box web site, is to promote and encourage the development and safe practice of physical mediumship. But it is also hoped, that it will encourage those interested, to study all forms of mediumship and to practice and participate where possible.
Apart from publishing as many stories of mediums of the past, and what they used to do to develop their mediumship, the trials and tribulations that they had to suffer at the hands of the law and the scientists, we are hoping that readers, during their own investigations and development, will share their experiences and phenomena obtained with our other readers. Maybe you run a physical circle and have had phenomena that you would like to share with other like minded people and developing circles. In turn, giving encouragement to those who may not yet be as advanced as your group.
We would like reports on seances both old and new. A well reported seance always makes interesting reading.
When the Noah's Ark Society decided to disband and close its doors for the last time, it meant that the magazine "The Ark Review" and the web site would also finish. As a member of the Ark I was a little disappointed about losing my bi-monthly edition of the magazine. So as a consequence, I decided to start my own magazine and web site. The magazine was to follow the broad outline of the Ark Review with additional items and stories about other paranormal events. The web site was only meant to be a backup of the magazine. I also felt that the magazine needed to cover other subjects related to mediumship, not just physical mediumship. So I took the bull by the horns and started writing.
Of course I was relying on the other readers of the Ark Review as my client base for the magazine, and thankfully a number did join me as subscribers. But regrettably, and after only one year, the numbers of subscribers fell and I felt that it was no longer a viable prospect to continue. So I then started to pay more attention to the web site, and we have arrived at what you see today. I hope that you like what you read and that it gives you plenty of information which you may be able to make use of. I will always ask readers of this web site; if you have any material that you would like to share with our readers please feel free to contact me, and I will endeavour to place it somewhere on the site.
